I was going to do the "Name five fictional characters you would have sex with" meme, but I can't. Unless you ask me to limit myself to one show. It would probably be easier to name the fictional characters I wouldn't have sex with. I mean, it's just sex, right? No commitment, no embarassing dinners with the family and morning waking up with dirty laundry all over the bathroom floor? If that's what we are talking about, I'd have sex with a rather large number of fictional characters, because most of them turn me on for one reason or another. If you'd ask me about fictional characters I could fall in love with however?

I'm not sure I could even come up with five.

But let's try: Five fictional characters I could fall in love with )

So, that only took hours.

Now, if you really want to know which fictional characters I'd have sex with and when or how, give me the name of a show and I'll tell you.
...in which [livejournal.com profile] oceana_ reveals what sort of fannish slut she really is.

Why, yes, there is more.

Sports Night )

West Wing )

Oz )

Jeremiah )

Stargate Atlantis )

MacGyver )

Farscape )

Navy NCIS )

By now, the few of you who have read all of this will have wondered where I do spend my time, since all I said was "not anymore", not at them moment" and "not yet".
And yes, you guessed it, HIGHLANDER ate my brain.

Want to know what I did the last few days when I didn't read my flist and didn't post?
I watched Highlander. I read Highlander slash. I watched more Highlander. I read more slash.
Mainly, this is what my life looks like since, I don't know when I discovered it, but pretty much since then. No, it actuall took me a while to fall for Duncan, but I fell for Mehos immediately, and now I'm lost.
It feels like Stargate is my husband, and Highlander is the man of my life whom I've met just a week to late to actually give up my marriage for him. I will never get a divorce, but I doubt I'll ever find the strength or the will to end my passionate affair with Highlander.
Good thing that this is fandom and not real life, so bigamy isn't that much of a problem.

You thought this was all? )

Okay, now I'm done.
I can't believe that I have a real life beside all this. But it does explain why my days always feel so short, and why I never sleep more than four or five hours.
[livejournal.com profile] qill13 has posted Peter Wingfield arm porn at [livejournal.com profile] pw_daily.
Go look.

[livejournal.com profile] yuletide is back, as you have probably all heard by now. Only four people suggested Jeremiah in the fandom suggestions, and only one of them mentioned Markus.
*cries*
I wish I could write.
Chances seem to be a bit better for NCIS, another fandom that is ín dire need of, uhm, a fandom.

That is all. go back to reading slash/reading lj/thinking about pretty naked boys while you pretend to work. :-)
I watched an insane amount of Stargate in the last few days.
To be exact, I watched Season 6 up to Nightwalkers, Menace, The Lowdown and then of course, New Order.
::does the happy dance of slashiness and general Stargate love::

There is no point to that, I just wanted to let you know. *smiles*

So, I heard that the shippers are wanking about the new ep.
small spoilers, Enigel and others please skip this )

Anyway, I have no idea why the shippers are pissed, and I wanted to find out. Mainly because I was interested in their perception of the Jack/Danielness of the ep. I sort of want everyone to be happy with my favourite show, especially with this ep. I am kind of naive that way.

Also, I just don't understand how people can say that Stargate is their favourite show and then complain about it all the time )

Ah yes, kind of lost the point there. Point is (or was), I wanted to see what shippers think about the new ep. And then I realized that I don't know any shippers. Seriously. There don't seem to be shippers anywhere on my friendslist.
Well, there is [livejournal.com profile] torificus ( Hi Torificus!), who warned me about her shippy tendencies, but she seemed to be fine with New Order. If there are others hiding, please let me know, I promise I won't bite.

Now, why is it that shippers avoid my LJ? Okay, I have this thing about slash in my user info, but that is rather new. I don't think I openly (or secretly) bash shippers in here. I have read Sam/Jack, and my motto is very much live and let live (I actually wrote "live and let die" first. Ooops. *g*)
I may have complained a few times about too much Sam/Jack on the show, but the show and the fanfic are two different things.
Is my LJ so obviously slashy that shippers flee when they come across it? Apart from the naked men who posed as sheep, I can't remember talking about gay sex that much. Hm. I guess I'm just wondering how people perceive me.
//end of pointless rambling and stupid questions

I'm going to watch "Proving Ground" now, because I am so very much in love with AlphaJack. Plus, I have the DVDs and am addicted to audio commentaries.

Coming up next on this journal:
- Find out what Oceana's favourite Stargate episodes from Season 3 are!

- More Jeremiah Pimpage: How Rape, Rage and Revenge make this show so addictive

-CSI: How Nick finally gets over Gil and Greg still doesn't get laid:We reveal the secrets of the CSIs season 2 relationships!

All this right after Oceana has finally written the essay she was supposed to write last week and has caught up on the sleep she missed last night, so stick around.
Real life takes up way more time than I'm used to. I didn't read flist, just glanced at it from time to time, and found many interesting things that I couldn't enjoy or comment on. And I don't see that changing any time soon. Hm, maybe I'll have a marathon lj session this weekend.
I am still not getting my comments. I'm not kidding. Slowls old commetns arrive, from last week or the week before. Very interesting.
Bought new CD burner and installed it myself! *is proud* And I only had to call my computer expert friend four times. *g*
That gave me the opportunity to finally watch the Highlander eps I downloaded last week, and I have fallen for Duncan. Again.
First I don't like him, so I watch all the Methos eps. Then I start to like Duncan, so I watch Duncan eps. Then I fall for him. Then I read a LOT of HL slash, and fall for Methos again. Watch all the Methos eps again. Fall for Duncan, again.
It's a neverending circle, I just can't escape.
The eyes! The shoulders! His ridiculous old fashioned chivalry. His annoying morals. And the way he looks with a sword in his hand! If there ever was a man born to hold a sword, it was Duncan MacLeod. I'm so doomed. I just can't resist, I try and I try, and then he does these things, and I'm gone again. Besides, he worships women. One night with Duncan MacLeod, just one night. Maybe I can forget about him then.
It's time for Stargate Season 8, tiny season 8 spoiler that everyone probably knows already )

Also, I watched Beverly Hills - Ten Year Highschool Reunion" today. Am now completely in love with Luke Perry.
I need to download more Jeremiah eps and resume my pimping, but Emule is being very slow. Seems like nobody uploads Jeremiah. *pouts*

Now I'll go see if this Lowdown things works.
go to *shudder* fanfiction.net and using the "Story by summary" search mode look for your real (first) name in the Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings sections. if you find any Mary-Sues with your name, pick the juiciest and post the summary.

My "first" first name does not exist anywhere in fanfiction.net. Lucky for me, I have quite a few first names to chose from.

Anna Morgan is an exchange student from America in our favorite Hogwartians 5th year. She has many secrets to tell to her new friends, but she also has quite a few she isn't so eager to spill... )

There are more. Many, many more. I think I'll have nightmares tonight.

There is also a Stargate Anna:
Anna Connor came to work at the SGC undercover, but will a certain archaeologist make her want to stay for good?,

an Angel one:
Anna is new to Angel's gang and finds herself attracted to the Vampire. When things start to happen, Anna wonders if she made a mistake joining the team. But when Spike comes to town, things heat up.

and the inevitable Lord of the Rings one:
Anna Maria is a former slave who was rescued and was healing in Rivendell...until something unfortunate happens! Who will save her this time? Will it be Legolas?

LegolasOC. Anna isn't your average human, she is a witch. A potion brings her in to ME before the battle of Helms Deep. Does she really belong in ME, and will she fall in love.

And my absolute favourite:
Anna gets stuck living with elves after getting tickets to see American Idol Live.

See, that's the kind of story I couldn't have written myself. It's probably not even fiction, but some weird prediction for the future. Hmm, I wonder if I can chose the elves I get stuck with.
*points people to the "Inappropriate Elf Challenge: More Elves than you can shake a stick at"*

Also, just for your information, I'd like to point out that fanfiction.net does not have a Jeremiah category.
See? If that's not prove of the superb quality of the fandom, I don't know what is.
Plus, they are pretty, hot, and gay.

Today's pimping success:
[livejournal.com profile] greensilver has succumbed to my pimping and watched the first episode.
I quote:
I would like to state for the record that Markus appears to be the sort of character who could have chemistry with a doorknob, if it were male.

Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] greensilver. I couldn't have said it better myself.
*licks Markus*

I promised more Jeremiah pics, didn't I?
Let me introduce Kurdy.

Now, he looks like a big, bad boy in this pic, but trust me, he's very sweet. A bit too sweet actually. He pretends to care for no one but himself, but in reality he cares very much about people. Probably more than Jeremiah. Where Jeremiah is motivated by rage and a fight for some unknown "greater good", Kurdy is motivated by compassion and loyalty. Jeremiah likes him because of that, but I am not sure if he sees how deep Kurdy's feelings are. And I am pretty sure that Jeremiah is willing to sacrifice people for his cause, and Kurdy is no exception.
Okay, this is all pure speculation, I have seen only five eps so far, but I am so sure that Kurdy is going to get hurt one day. And it will be Jeremiah's fault. Oh, and I am also sure that Kurdy would not approve of Jeremiah/Markus. He isn't jealous, he is way too straight to be jealous, but he sees that Markus is one of the few persons who have the power to hurt Jeremiah.

One more pic behind the cut, so you can see how pretty Jeremiah and Kurdy are together )

Pics came from here.

Jeremiah

*licks*

One more behind the cut )

Pictures come from here.

The story:
Fifteen years ago, a virus killed everyone over the age of innocence (whatever that means). Jeremiah is searching for a place his father told him about. He meets Kurdy (pictures next time), and it doesn't take him long to develop a crush on him. But Kurdy is very straight, so instead Jeremiah fucks Markus. He thinks it's causal, but Markus fell for Jeremiah the minute he saw him. Throw in some women, burning cars and naked swimming in rivers., and you've got the perfect angsty slash show.

Now, go watch, download episodes, write fic. There are about five Jeremiah fics. I'm not kidding. There needs to be more.
If no one writes fic about these two soon, I'll be forced to do it. And I'd hate to do that to what could be a beautiful fandom.
If I ever write fic, I thought I'd take my first attempts, which are bound to be horrible, somewhere else, like, Harry Potter, where I can hide between 12 year-old Mary-Sue writers. Also, I haven't seen enough episodes of Jeremiah yet to come up with anything even remotely resemblin a plot.

Btw, you can still take my poll to help me decide which icon to get rid ofl, so I can upload a Jeremiah icon, or Spike and Angel.
I just watched Jeremiah for the very first time (because it is yet another show that we don't have here in Germany).

Luke Perry? - So sexy.
And Markus? - It took him five minutes to fall for Jeremiah? I have never seen someone falling for someone else on TV so fast and so obvious. Also, he is the Tok'ra Malek.
Actually, he could really be a Tok'Ra, because that whole not sharing with others thing is something they do very well. Maybe he got stuck at the SGC fifteen years ago, when everyone else died. Though I guess he would have escaped through the Stargate by now. Anyway, I think it is very peculiar that of all the places they could go, they have to chose Cheyenne Mountain. You'd think there were no other military facilities in the US.
I swear there is a conspiracy to include Stargate actors in every series I decide to watch. Just to confuse me.

I was also thrilled to see Janet, because Teryl Rothery is always a nice surprise. And the Prophet guy, whatever his name is? Wasn't that the "Angel" from the Sentinel episode "Nightshift"?

Kurdy seemes very familiar, especially when he sat donw at that table in the end and said: "I'm in." to Markus. He reminds me of someone, but I can't figure out who it is. Which is weird, seeing that he probably the only actor I haven't seen somewhere else before.
Anyway, I liked the Pilot, and I am downloading more episodes now. Judging by the amount of German television I have watched during the last years, I wonder why I even have a TV.
