I'm still watching JAG, but I expect to be done with it after breakfast. ;-)

Now, I know no one wants to talk about JAG, but I still am going to say a few thinsg about it.

JAG )

But enough about JAG. Once I'm done with season 10, I'll need to move on to something else. Now, I know I said I was going to watch Stargate, but this morning I woke up feeling more like Farscape. And then I though, how about watching the dvds I haven't watched yet before I start rewatching another show? So let's see, what do I have:

- Riptide Seasons 2 (oh, that sounds like fun!)
- BSG Season 3 (but I'd have to rewatch the first seasons, and I don't feel much like it at the moment)
- Charlie Jade (I've watched the show, but not since I have the DVDs, and I'd really like to see it on the tv instead of the computer)
- Californication Season 1

Hmm, I think I'll watch Riptide. And then Stargate.
Or maybe a few movies?

What do you think?

A while ago I was wondering if I should watch Stargate again, but, in light of ten seasons, was a bit afraid of the commitment. Since then I have watched 7 seasons of JAG and I'm so not done yet.

Why is that? Why couldn't I watch ten seasons of my favourite show ever, but instead watched seven seasons of a show that I had never watched before?

The answer is simple: I didn't own any JAG dvds when I started. I sort of thought that I could get away with buying and watching season 1, finding it okay but nothing to write home about and then move one. Boy, was I ever wrong. JAG was obviously made for me. I may have found myself rewatching certain scenes over and over again, and yes, most of them featured planes (and maybe a certain commander, but we'll get to
that later).

In fact, JAG was so made for me that I watched those seven seasons in not even four weeks, I've been practically inhaling the DVDs (and amazon.co.uk really really loves me right now).

Anyway, I'm not here to swoon over JAG (and I know you guys don't share my newfound love). What I was going to say was that I fully intend to watch Stargate all over again this year. I'll finish JAG first, but sometime around end of March/beginning of April, I should be ready to start with Stargate. And with my new Eee PC (which hasn't
even arrived yet, let's hope it works), I fully expect to watch and type and post and share my joy.

Anyone want to join me?

As we all know, NCIS is a originally a spin-off from JAG, introduced in the 8th-season episodes Ice Queen and Meltdown. In those episodes, Harmon Rabb is accused of murder (with Gibbs investigating and OMG how much do I love the interrogation scenes?), and he is given a lawyer (that neat-freak who later also appeared on NCIS). And then there is that other guy who is acting as a prosecutor, the red-haired one who
was flirting with Abby.

What's that guy's name and who is the actor?

No, this is not a random trivia question. I watched the episodes last night and it's been bugging me ever since. He seemed awfully familiar. Of course, that could be because I've seen the episodes before, or maybe he reappeared on NCIS again later? I just don't know. And google, wikipedia and imdb have been utterly unhelpful in providing me with a name. (it doesn't help that I don't know the characters name, I
know. I was kind of skipping through the eps for the Gibbs/Rabb scenes. And no, I'm totally not writing Gibbs/Rabb, though somebody should. no, wait somebody should write Raab/DiNozzo, because it would drive Gibbs crazy. Hmm. Maybe I should...ok, getting back to the point)

Point is, it's driving me crazy, so if you happen to know the actor or the character's name, or both, I'd be very grateful for your help.

And no, I didn't just buy all seasons of JAG. Because I would never do such a thing.

(I may have bought one or two. Maybe three. But that's it, really I promise.)

By now, the few of you who have read all of this will have wondered where I do spend my time, since all I said was "not anymore", not at them moment" and "not yet".
And yes, you guessed it, HIGHLANDER ate my brain.

Want to know what I did the last few days when I didn't read my flist and didn't post?
I watched Highlander. I read Highlander slash. I watched more Highlander. I read more slash.
Mainly, this is what my life looks like since, I don't know when I discovered it, but pretty much since then. No, it actuall took me a while to fall for Duncan, but I fell for Mehos immediately, and now I'm lost.
It feels like Stargate is my husband, and Highlander is the man of my life whom I've met just a week to late to actually give up my marriage for him. I will never get a divorce, but I doubt I'll ever find the strength or the will to end my passionate affair with Highlander.
Good thing that this is fandom and not real life, so bigamy isn't that much of a problem.

You thought this was all? )

Okay, now I'm done.
I can't believe that I have a real life beside all this. But it does explain why my days always feel so short, and why I never sleep more than four or five hours.
