1) I turned the computer off today. Twice. This was done in a futile attempt to study, and also because I have nothing left to download, so there wasn't really any point in leaving it on.
2) I finished watching season 2 of Rescue Me. Rescue Me taught me the word "twat", a word previously unknown to me. There goes my innocence. I'm sure I could have happily lived ever after without knowing it, but at least now I can be suitably offended, should I ever be called "twat", which I highly doubt, since it didn't happen the last 28 years. Of course, now that I have learned the word, I found three (!) lj entries on my friends-of-list that used it. You guys have strange friends.
3) I cannot stop listening to Neil Diamond. This is a bigger problem than you probably realize, because I mean I literally can't stop listening. He is singing in my head when I turn the music off. And then he makes me want to dance. That way lies madness, but at least it took care of my Paul Simon "Concert in the Park" addiction. Seeing my "recently played" list, you'd never know that I own 300+ CDs and more than 200 other mp3s. Clearly, there is something wrong with my brain.
