The new ipod has arrived! Yay! In order to be able to fully enjoy
Metallipod on christmas, when he will be actually mine (seeing how he
is a christmas gift), I'm transferring all my music, pictures and vids
to him.

The music was surprisingly easy, a lot better and faster than with my
old 4th gen (R.I.P. *sob*). Haven't started with the pictures yet, but
I suppose that will be easy, too.

What isn't easy is the vid-transfering. Now, if it were DVDs, I would
shameless download those eps in ipod-friendly format from the web
(cause really, I own them, why should I have to go through the trouble
of converting them if I don't have to?) But what I really want on my
ipod are fannish music vids.

I've found one program to convert these and tried it with one vid
(ipodconverter or something). The result was a horrible, way too
bright slide-show. I have no idea why the clips were transfered into
slides, but I'm guessing some of you ipod and vid-savy people do?

Does anyone know of a good vid-conversion program that would allow me
to transfer convert fannish music vids to ipod-format?
Batch-conversion would be a dream, but I take everything else, too, as
long as it works.
