Well, that was a given.

Of course it was also a given that I would many things about this show would annoy(or amuse) me, most of all the very unroman "Sir" (and there are others, many others). And there is definitely too much violence for me, but I consider that a good thing. It's nice to see that violence on TV can still shock me and that I don't just ignore it like I tend to with shows like CSI. But yes, I think I'll keep watching.

How much do I want Marcus Antonius (who, judging by his busts, wasn't that pretty in real life, but who cares?)

And how much cooler would that show have been if they were speaking latin? They could at least throw us an Ave! here or there.
