Given the direction the show has taken this season, I should have known that an episode set in the glamoury world of "Sneaker-Collecting" (seriously?) would be a disaster. However, I couldn't know it was so bad. Where was Colby? Where was DON? Am I supposed to believe that the FBI doesn't have their own labtecs anymore and needs Charlie to set up a lab at CalSci? Abby could have told apart these sneakers, but the FBI can't?

I haven't even finished watching the ep while I write this. Sorry, but I just needed to rant. Last year, Numb3rs was among the topof my favourite shows. This year, it has been the greatest disappointment. If I didn't know that I can love the show and DID love it so much once, I would have long stopped watching. Maybe I still will..

What I really hate is that it isn't even the shows fault. It's not gotten worse, it has changed. Maybe some people will like it even better the way it is now. See, when I was watching Numb3rs, I was watching the "Don Eppes screws up his personal life once again, suffers and shoots people"-show. I was never watching the "Charlie Eppes the math genius helps the FBI solve crimes"-show. Only, Numb3rs was probably meant to be the "Charlie Eppes the math genius helps the FBI solve crimes"-show rather than the "Don Eppes screws up his personal life once again, suffers and shoots people"-show, so if that's what they were going for, they have finally succeeded.

Doesn't mean I have to like it.
